Hit-and-run death still under investigation

Alabama Condition Troopers continued Monday to pry into for leads in a hit-and-run casualty that claimed the the breath of one's nostrils of a 48-year-old Anniston woman Friday.

Vehicular killing of a human being investigators wearied time over the weekend reviewing ground of belief recovered from the view that might bring them closer to discovery the vehicle that struck and killed Bridget Expertness, 48, of Anniston, related Jacksonville-Gadsden Support Commander Capt. John Henderson.

Troopers trust the vehicle was a red Dodge Ram four-roll-drive traffic, said Henderson. A not the same description reported in The Heavenly body on Sunday was inaccurate.

According to reports, Aptitude was walking her dog around 8:30 p.m. when the dog got unbind and was hit by a vehicle. When she tried to protect to her dog, Craft was struck by the Dodge Ram and the carriage drove off, case troopers declared.

Craft died from dull-force trauma and was pronounced defunct at the scene in a short time after the incident, reported Calhoun Shire Coroner Pat Brown.
