PBR NILE Invitational presented by Cooper Tires Final Event Results!!!
PUEBLO, Colo. (April 20, 2008 ) - The Professional Male Riders, Inc. (PBR) NILE Invitational presented by Cooper Tires bucked into Rimrock Auto Ring in Billings, Mont. for the thirteenth successive year on April 18-20, 2008. The 17th close up on the elite Built Ford Tough Order presented by Quarrelsome fellow (BFTS) treated fans to thrilling rides and wrecks by the creation’s top 45 male riders and the most excellent bulls in the diligence.
In the end, 2004 PBR Rookie of the Year Zack Brown (Santa Fe, TX) emerged triumphant after choosing Parson Creek Ranch’s meed; honors; laurels bull, Soulja Boy, in the Built Ford Tough Championship Circular. Brown was awarded 89.25 points which was serviceable enough for fifth courtyard in the round and at last, first place at the incident with 354 points on four noddle and a check for $37,969.
On his way to the PBR NILE Invitational winner’s plane figure, Brown, 29, placed in all four go rounds including splitting first open space in round one after riding Jesse Eminence Bucking Bulls’ Tuscarora for 89.5 points. He followed that up with an 87.25 sharp end ride in circular two on Hofer & Dennis Bucking Bulls’ Tighty Whitey who he piked in Saturday first blush of the morning’s draft. He then placed fourth in the third circular on Ty Rinaldo TZ Bucking Bulls’ Flashover with an 88 sharp end ride. Brown went into the eventual round with 264.75 points and the guide which ensured him first pierce in the Championship Circular draft.
When asked about his peck, an excited Brown reported, “I’ve never been on him [Soulja Boy], but had seen him in Anaheim when Brendon Clark won the circular and he was really beneficial to the right. Then Pistol Robinson had him in the brief go and he went to the left. In the end though, he was a beautiful fun bull and made me be in action for the win.”
This weekend’s win in Billings is the first for Brown since September 2004 when he had back to back wins in Laughlin, Nev. and Reno, Nev. It also marks the first duration he has competed at the NILE Invitational in Billings since the misadventure that took him out of the MetraPark Ring on a stretcher and constrained him into temporary departure. “I’ve never held anything against this ring. My past injuries definitely made riding at this weekend’s circumstance a great chronicle and I’m glad I could ride well and twitch through for everyone following it,” Brown fixed.
